Originally formed in 1991 as ITL, here at Microtek we have over 25 years of continued success as a front line electronic repair and refurbishment company, and have over 100 years combined experience in-house.
It’s our success in maintaining high profile contracts, which has built the foundations of our well-established business today. We are proud to provide outstanding service, quality repairs, and we believe it’s our attention to the whole customer satisfaction experience which has got us where we are today.
Back in 1991, the company gained the status as sole dedicated Datachecker EPoS repairer for ICL, with a repairing contract involving 15,000 item repairs every year. In addition, we offer a 6-month warranty not only on the repair, but for the product itself. In the past, we have worked with companies such as WHSmith, Argos, McDonald's, and B&Q.
In 2013, Microtek became the UK & Ireland distributor for the well-established and internationally known Japanese EPoS Solutions brand, Uniwell. And last year, the software development branch of Microtek produced their own back office cloud-based EPoS solution, MSD Cloud.
Due to the fast pace of technology today, Microtek is constantly changing, and we have evolved over the years to meet these new challenges. This means we have been able to expand our repair portfolio to cover a much wider range of electronic equipment.
